We were about 3/4 mile outside the Mission Bay Channel in San Diego. It was probably about 5 miles total. The fee is roughly $150 an hour for non-members. It costs $150 just to active plus the hourly charge. I signed up the second the guy offered it. He cut me a break for signing up, otherwise it would have been over $500 for the tow.
