PV=nRT is the ideal gas law.

P is pressure
V is volume
n is the number of gas molecules
R is the ideal gas constant
T is the absolute temperature

All other commonly known gas laws are derived this. The simplified gas laws they teach in scuba courses all assume adiabatic (no heat flow in or out of the gas) compression or expansion. That is not strictly true, but is a fair approximation for many simple cases.
