For those of you in socal that don't know what the conditions are like on the north coast on a regular basis,imagine your entire mainland coast with permanent conditions like the backside of Miguel. How many days during the year can you get to the far west side of that island?
This is what the North Coast is like all the time.
So when we say conditions can change in a matter of an hour from diveable to horrendous it's no BS.

That's why when I need a tropical dive vacation I just go to Socal and get on one of the dive boats.
