When vis is great, it seems be better.
25 becomes 30 untill you run into divers coming down the trail.
Then it is 40...

But if it is 10 and the dive sux, next thing you know it was 3 feet.

I don't think about viz other than how much closer I need to be so as not to risk the "2 minute trirl" and obligatto ascent...

"Oh there you are...." dive bud is 12 feet away at surface.
