MONO COUNTY March 12, 2007 07:12 AM PDT Authorities say special dive teams will head back to the scene of Sunday's ice diving accident in Mono County. Several law enforcement agencies began their search for a missing diver Sunday afternoon at Gull Lake. The Mono County Sheriff's Department says three people were ice diving, but one did not re-surface. Numerous holes were cut into the ice to try to locate the missing diver, but search and rescue crews were unsuccessful. They say they will try again Monday morning with the help of the San Bernadino County Sheriff's Department dive team. |
