Posted by SLANG on March 16, 2007 at 13:18:25: It looks like it's going to be a good weekend for diving based on the weather reports, but if you can't get out to dive for whatever reason, there's another use for your C-Card this weekend. The Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach is having their annual Divers Appreciation Weekend. In recognition of the huge contribution made by the local diving community in terms of their volunteer efforts, entry to the Aquarium is free to any certified SCUBA diver all weekend long. There will be special presentations, exhibits and lectures aimed at those with an interest in diving. It's usually a pretty good time. SLANG
