It is a Ribbit worm. That is the creature that was making the "croaking" sound underwater. The Ribbit worm makes ribbit and croak sounds throughout the night to attract mates. The name Ribbon worm and Ribbit worm is similar, that is probably the source of the confusion. Hope this clears things up! Scott
