Actually this does sound like the real Ray. I realize that he schmoozes his passengers, and most don't get to spend much time during the course of a trip with the Capt. The short duration of those encounters allows him to present as a charming, friendly individual. However, if one had to spend any time with Ray, this initial impression would be seen for the facade that it is. Ray carries an arrogant air of entitlement that is too well known by those who spend any time around him.

Though I’m sure that there are of course two sides to this encounter, given the photo documentation I’d tend to believe the hoopers (how I hate ‘em) story.

Also, the Badger guy should be given so credit for restraint in referring to the good Capt, as a DH. Just ask some of the locals around 22nd St Landing what they called Ray.

Thank god lobster season is over and the madness can end - until next year!
