March Madness on the Magician |
Posted by Walt on March 25, 2007 at 08:52:47: Is this March? The seas were calm, swells and current tame, weather sunny, (water a tad chilly), but a fantastic day of diving yesterday. For me it was a day of UICC training, but I had fun and enjoyed the diving anyway. Vis was in the 20 foot 'cloudy' range (a bit of California green water). Dive sites were River Cove and Bird Rock at Catalina - both sites had good conditions. My last trip on the Magician was Chamber Day last year and when I boarded I found yet another improvement to an already nice boat - Jerry has installed a marvelously designed "mini" tank and gear station in the center of the deck and spaced out all of the side stations. The result is a lot more room for your gear. Bravo! Jerry is keeping his boat in tip top shape; its perfectly maintained, clean, and well appointed. Definitely a class act boat that I'd recommend to anyone. |
