Thanks to advice from Frank O'Donnell and Margaret Webb I finally figured out how to get enough light from my strobe. I went to Redondo Beach to test it tonight. The vis was a very murky six feet with lots of fry in the water. I was not pleased with the results, but at least I can see the animals now. Reports from Marineland today were excellent, so Sunday I'll try a few more settings.
