Not really locally, but I think close enough.

Between Sutil and SBI istelf. Early in our second dive of the
day, it was cruising just outside the kelp blind next to Sutil
in the mid water column. We had to look up slightly to see it
cruise by not once, but twice in the same direction. We
estimated it to be between 10 to 12 ft long. Needless to say, we
were a bit more cautious than usual as we cruised through the
kelp. We were hunting fish and bugs back then, so we decided
not to shoot anything for the rest of that dive.

I consider myself lucky to have seen one. My buddy at the time
didn't quite feel the same way.
