I didn't even take any pictures of their airport.

I just got back from a 4 hour walk downtown. I thought I hit the goldmine when I found 30 rolls of Velvia 100 imported from Japan (I'd had wind the Japanese stuff was better than what they were selling in the US). Ready to pay almost any price per roll, I checked the expiration date. 12/2005. Stored unrefrigerated. I'll take my chances with what I've got.

I hit 8 camera stores, 3 grocery stores, 5 "pharmacies" - not one roll of slide film.

Waiting to put my two cents in at the consulate.

In the mean time, I'm fighting back the only way I can - with holding my shopping dollar.
