I think so. I used one on my trip to Hawaii in December and found it much easier to clear on descents. I also had none of the usual feelings of water in the ear that usually follow a dive.

And for what it's worth, it's a really COMFORTABLE mask. Once you get used to it (and how it "enhances" the audio of your dive), it feels great on your face.
