Stegastes baldwini, the Clipperton gregory |
Posted by Chris on May 02, 2007 at 08:32:31: Stegastes baldwini is a fish that is unique to Clipperton Island. It is the only damsel fish at Clipperton. Like Holacanthus limbaughi, the Clipperton angelfish it is known only at Clipperton. Stegastes baldwini is common, but seems much more shy than Holacanthus limbaughi and is harder to get a picture of. Stegastes baldwini is also known as the Clipperton gregory or Baldwin's major.
