I will be living in the Canary Islands for just over 2 months this summer before i enter my first year at University, and was wondering if I could scuba dive over there without being licensed in the US. I will be mainly staying on Tenerife, but I can take boats/planes to other islands, and will be staying in El Hierro for a week as well. I was wondering if there were any particularly good places that would be worth going out of my way for. I'm going to be living there alone (or maybe with some roommates if I find any) and am 18 years old, so I don't know if that will be an issue at all. Well anyways, thanks for the help.
