Our group met at Main Beach Laguna for a Halibut hunt. The wind was up, but the water was good color so we decided to make the long surface swim to the deep reefs off Main Beach. Vis was a nice 20' at 75' and we had a Harbor Seal following us the whole way. He did better than we did, getting a few blacksmith while we did not see any flatties. Conditions were nice and I wish I had the camera with nice calm 20' vis. There is a storm drain out fall pipe that leads into deep water at this site, a very interesting area to look for flat fish.
