|NEED CHAMBER DAY PIX ABOVE & BELOW THE WATER|
Posted by Chamber Day book committee on May 07, 2007 at 12:41:59:|
Maybe we weren’t clear when we started talking about the Chamber Day book. We need photos both above AND below the water, since the event happens in both places. And we need photos from both Chamber Day AND Chamber Eve. We need LOTS of photos. The book’s going to be close to 100 pages.
The deadline for submissions is tomorrow (Tuesday, May 8) at the end of the day. If you can’t get it done by then, let us know ASAP either by calling us at 310/652-4990 or e-mailing us at email@example.com. If you’d like to arrange to drop them off to us directly in Westwood, that can also be arranged by contacting us directly.
You’re welcome (and encouraged, actually) to crop, adjustment exposure, and clean up the shots in whatever way you like. So give us your “best version” for each image you submit. There’s no limit on the number of shots you can submit but please don‘t just send us everything you shot. Pare them down. But don’t feel like you should just send us two or three. The more the merrier.
Everyone submitting at least one image will be entered in a special raffle. We’ll draw three names and each winner will receive a $100 gift certificate courtesy of Samy’s Camera and you can use that to add to or improve your photography through Samy’s whatever way you desire.
Here’s a recap of the guidelines for submitting:
Submitted images must have been taken on May 2, 2007
And don’t forget to reserve your very own copy of our book (really YOUR book). You can do this through our website at www.chamberday.org or by calling 310/652-4990. Cost is $75. We anticipate being able to put the book in your hands at the Scuba Show June 2 &3.
Thanks for being part of Chamber Day and our book project. We literally can’t do it without you.
