There's Big Sur and there's Big Sur. The usual "Big Sur" trip
for the Monterey dive boats gets down to about Lobos Rocks,
about 11 nm south of Pt. Lobos. These happen with some regularity
when sea conditions and diver skill level allows. About once
or twice a year, the Cypress Sea runs a "Long Range" trip that gets
as far as Partington Canyon, about another 13 mn. This area is
very rarely dived, and is whole different ecosystem. The ecology
is starting to morph into SoCal.

The Sea is a fine boat with a fine crew.
