Captain Ray & I just spent last night and today ferrying news crews back and forth from mainland to island. Our activities had us on scene today for the 4pm press conference. Serious accolades were given to our own Bob Kennedy, Mayor of Avalon and owner/operator of the King Neptune and Catalina Sscuba Luv (busy guy!). Not only was Mayor Kennedy on-island through the whole ordeal, but he was one of the first people on the front lines, hose in hand, defending Avalon and the surrounding island! And not to worry.
