It is what digital tries to emulate. I'm happy to see that at least a few "Photographic Societies" are willing to remember the roots. That so many contests have sold out totally to digital. I think is very sad and depreciates the history of photography, and also somewhat, the credibility of the "societies". Just my two cents worth.
