Unfortunately, I have never been out on your boat...not for want of trying, I assure you! Laura and I were scheduled for the GE for our boat dives in our OW class - it got shifted to the Bottom Scratcher. Our own plans feel through for another planned trip on the GE. Then, we were all set for the most recent scheduiled trip to Farnsworth Banks aboard the GE and REALLY looking forward to the trip. It got cancelled due to weather.

Three tries - three scratches.

One of these days, though, I swear I'm going to get to go out on the GE and dive! And I'm all the more anxious to do so after reading your post!
