Still Looking for Underwater Flares ...

A friend of mine is looking for hand held underwater flares.
They used to be used regularly on the old TV show "The Aquanauts" later called "Malibu Run".
He's going to be using them for the same purpose as they did, to add perspective to U/W shots taken in very clear water.

Does anybody have a line on those critters?
