Keep in mind that all I know at this point is what I have read in this post and there is no comment posted at this point from "Sport Chalet".

This sounds like a really rotten stunt they have pulled. I would expect so much more support for our local dive boats from them.

My personal reaction is to with hold my business from their stores. Keep in mind they are the only convenient access that I have to a dive store - I live in San Bernardino. If the boats will forgive me if I show up with empty tanks I'll be happy to support the boats!
