Scot, I have to kind of disagree.
Sort of, I mean kind of.
I currently accept your point of view by todays standards.

I joke at your expence. Sorry about that.
Really the joke is that the vague set of principles that we must be able to understand.

Lets dig up the standards and throw them at the fan.

Octopus? Snorkle? Buddy? Float?
Spare air supply? Sausage?
Redundant light? Re-redundant light?
computer? BCD? AIR mix?

Lets keep throwing...

Air 2? Integrated weight? Ankle weights?
Backpack? Spare Mask?

That is just the gear...

The whole thing is just too vague.
And Yes I do have a fold up snorkel just for that one city.
