I contacted WildAid, in San Francisco, a couple of months ago asking if they had any education efforts in the So Cal, and they replied that their efforts were actually focused in stopping the shark finners in Galapagos, and educating the main shark fin consumer market in Asia. However, they did send me some pamphlets to distribute, and you can download them here:

Check out the Shark Fin wedding card, explaining
to Chinese guests why no shark fin soup will be served, since it is a
traditional dish at Chinese weddings.
