bring PLENTY of bug repellent and use it liberally. i looked like i had a bout of chicken pox (and i did at age 34, no less) when we got back from 2 weeks in roatan several years ago. oh, and stay away from taca airlines. we used continental but the stories from folks who have flown taca are legendary....
