Hi,

I am travelling down from San Francisco area to LA this week. I am wondering where some good easy shore dives are. My girlfriend is sort of a beginner and I have alot of experience in years gone by. The type of dives that we like are sort of poking around tide pools/shallow swimming in rich environments. 1-5 feet deep is nice, but some deeper stuff ok too. Hopefully some protected area (from surf) where there are fun things to look at.We have this in Moss Beach and Pidgeon point up in SF area. I am interested particularly in area from LA to Big Sur. I no longer am looking for hardcore dives, just a nice gentle calm, hopefully sunny experience interacting with lots of marine life.

I hope to be able to re-start my hobby with my girlfriend and go down the central calif coast and do dives when we go to visit her family in LA. Any leads/experience would be great. Thanks, Erik
