I think our trip was around $1200.00 - $1300.00 including all meals, diving and airfare from LAX but that was a few years ago. I forgot to mention the dolphin snorkel at Anythony's Key. You should definitely do that on the no dive day.

The diving in Roatan is for all levels since it is pretty much the same - shallow reef with walls that drop off into an abyss. You can always stay away from the walls if you are not comfortable with that. There were always guides/divemasters available on the boats that you could dive with. Excellent night diving there too - saw cuttlefish and octopus.
