The Cabrillo Aquarium has a public library.

Yup, run by the City of Los Angeles.
Just like any other library.
Sit down reading booths. Magazine racks.
And lots of rows of books. I think that librarians call them "Stacks"

But they are all about fish, boating, diving and marine sciences.
