Sure the contracts may say one thing, but Dear Chalet Insider, do you know how much it costs to run a boat, and keep it running? If an engine goes down that's an easy $10,000 pop if not more! How about dock fees, how about the fact that most of the boats also have to pay a commission to their landing right off the top!!!! How about air compressor maintenance? How about the countless number of times divers drop their weights on the deck and you have to tear out the entire deck (as one boat did this past year) and replace the entire thing!

You have no clue what it takes to run and operate a scuba diving boat, so dude or dude-ette you need to get a clue!
