Yep, we make regular secret trips every few months. We don't free dive, we don't hunt, just take pictures. Since we dive mostly mid week we are usually the only divers on scuba. Sometimes the only divers period. I speculate that one reason people don't come up north to dive is the unpredictable nature of the dive conditions. We take our dive gear with us every 1-2 months but only manage to find it divable 2-3 times per year (if that). For people coming from S. CA that's a long trip and money spent to not get to dive. We drive up from Sacramento and it's still long but we have a place to stay and other things we need to do up there so it works for us.
