No boat so mostly Russian Gulch and surface swim toward the mouth before descending. When we feel super energetic we go down the stairs to the beach below Main Street Mendocino and dive the blow hole (that's a lot of work at our age). On very, very rare occasion when the water is nearly glass we brave the rocks off the Mendocino headlands and dive the pipe line area.
