The loss of another good guy, indeed.

I'd known Bob for well over 20 years. Aside from being the consummate diver, he shared his love of diving and the sea as a docent for the Park Service and volunteer with the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary. He was a standard fixture in the NOAA and NPS booths at the SCUBA Show and other events.
He really was one of the good guys, and he will be deeply missed.

Unlimited bottom time from now on, Bob.
