     You can use INON add-on lenses with the Fuji. The 8080 you can not.
     I have an 8080 for several years. It is a great camera (but out of production) for pictures on the surface. I was very unhappy with for underwater use. Although it took great pictures when it focused, it does not focus well in low light. Thus I quit using it underwater. The Fuji is one of the best choices for currently available cameras. You can aslo use add-on lens with it.
