Vis on the Long Beach breakwater was excellent at 20+ feet all the way down to almost the bottom at 45’. Water was more blue than green and warm all the way down as well. No thermocline. Just about as good as it gets here. Vis outside of breakwall in 70 feet was 25-30 feet and again, as good as it generally get at the East end of San Pedro Bay – the Harbor. Slight thermocline at 60’. The big snotty stuff that was present a week or two ago is no longer in the water column. Wind was coming up early today at 11:30 am and we had planned to make it an early day as Pat was going to Memorial Service for Bob Rydgig at the Channel Islands National Park Headquarters at 5pm.

Only unusual sighting was the Orion III with Ross-O and Elaine J. on board.
