I was there on the Spectre the 24th. Vis was a mixed bag - one site was 15-20' on the north side, but the two south side sites were a bit better. Best vis of the day was probably at what Cap'n Ted called "The Garden Spot" - 30-40' (I may be exaggerating on the high side since it was the best vis I've yet had in california). Surge was a little irritating at 2-3'. Our last dive of the day with the Sea lions had a fairly ripping current. My buddy and I were playing in a cluster of 20 or so of them and were unpleasantly surprised by the length of swim we had back to the boat. Oh well, our own fault - cap'n warned us!
