There's a diver. Watch this!
As I attempted to enter the water today a Mac Truck disguised as a wall of green water slammed me back onto the rocky beach. The muscle pull in my upper right thigh is a nice reminder of it. Merry said it was the highest wave of the day. Lucky me.
Reverend Al had a hose blow and had to abort the dive. He had the best day. Merry, Dennis and I swam about 3/4 of the way to the Point at Marineland and descended into the muck. Visibility was seven feet at best. This was my first dive in 270 here that I didn't see a single nudibranch, not even a Spanish Shawl. I did find five Sunflower stars, but wide angle photography was out of the question in the dark, dirty water and surge.
We cut the dive short to 48 minutes and made it safely through the surf. Sometimes you feel you just have to dive. Those are the days when you need to just say no.
