Dove the oil rigs twice this labor day weekend, with very good conditions.

Dove elly and eureka saturday off the island time (shooting wide angle), and the olympic wreck, elly and eureka monday off the sea bass (shooting macro).

conditions on all 5 dives were great, sometimes outstanding. The olympic wreck was clear but dark due to a layer of brown muck.

critters on the olympic includes 4 nudie species, including P. blanca, ronquils, a large lingcod, rubberlip perch, calico rockfish. the wreck was covered with different colored strawberry anemones.

the rigs had a strong surface current on saturday, but not monday. the usual life was all out, vis was excellent at certain depths (sometimes shallow, sometimes deep), swells were low and the water was warm about 60ft.

the crew of the sea bass was excellent as usual.

dive stats:
elly #1: 110ft, 45min, 53 degrees
eureka #1: 94ft 33min, 55 degrees
olympic: 96ft, 42min, 52 degrees (brrr)
elly #2: 112ft, 50min, 54 degrees
eureka: 98ft, 57min, 56 degrees
