As Chuck points out the logistics are difficult. For that kind of diving having a boat crew and surface support that you completely trust and have worked with before is essential. We haven't found a boat up there to use and getting one of the Monterey boats there would be prohibitively expensive. None of us has a suitable boat. The closest I've been to Cordell is Noonday Rock with Chuck. That's still a big undertaking but at least it's a recreational dive which simplifies it a bit. For us it's been easier to concentrate on Carmel and Big Sur where we can use the Escapade and the Cypress Sea and there's plenty of nice diving in those areas that still needs to be done. I'm sure Cordell Bank is insanely great but diving there would certainly be a large undertaking. Clinton
