Some hints from the webmaster:

  • You must have a gage in your possession while hunting. I like to attach mine to the game bag.
  • You must measure your lobster before bagging it and returning to the boat. It is illegal to bring short lobster on board, or in your bag.
  • It is a good idea to remeasure your lobster as soon as you are back on board just in case you made a mistake.

  • If you are not sure it is legal, it's short.
  • If you have any tinge of doubt in your mind, it's short
