The dive industry has no one to blame but themselves. LDS included. Instead of acting like a community, there was so much infighting that customers choose to go where people were friendlier, nicer and didn't bad mouth the competition. I'm talking about golf shops, and the like.

The industry has done nothing to bring in new blood to get the next generation interested in diving. Including over pricing equipment, boat trips, and instruction. We should anyone in their 20's pay so much to go diving, when it's 10% the cost to go snowboarding, surfing, or any other activity.
