That's right, the solution IS AT HAND, and it is YOU.

You be the ambassador, you be the mouthpiece, you show up every Monday telling your peers about your adventures.
Point browsers to the dive reports at break.
Ask them if what they saw on cable over the weekend was half as good.

Tell them these truths.
Dive like a maniac and you don't need Ballys.
Don't go to Starbucks daily and you can buy the best gear.
It will last decades.

And best of all it can give meaning and purpose.

But one thing is for sure. If Elaine goes on sabbatical again. I am going to go jump in a lake, or river perhaps even the ocean.
