Wow, apparently you are not familiar with the cost and personal sacrafice involved in owning your own business. Comparing diving with snowboarding??
Personally, I prefer to save my pennies until I can afford the best gear and purchase it from a shop that doesn't make me wait in the dive department for an hour for the mystery employee who turns out to be a condescending old jerk that has absolutely no interest in providing even the smallest amount of service.
