The Peace is a good boat.

You could also try the Spectre - same harbor (Ventura). They can also rent gear like wetsuits, etc.

Sometimes the weather is not good in January, so the boat trip may be cancelled (money is not charged if cancelled). In this case, the Catalina Island Express may be taken to Avalon for diving at the dive park - mid week it is uncrowded.

Channel Islands offers world class diving! Enjoy!
