I saw some really nice abs along the Bodega Bay west breakwall on the inside (boat channel). I think as long as you stay against the wall you shouldn't have any trouble. I didn't hear the music start up during any of my dives there.
I didn't get an ab card this year otherwise I probably would have gone and pulled a few of those 9's I saw.
Nobody dives there because it's not a place anybody would think of.
Another thing is don't get caught by USCG diving on the inside, they seem to get real cranky about it.
