We will be diving spots
that are available to both freedivers and scubadoos, but concentrating
on the shallower stuff as it is where we find the nice big bugs up
here.

If you are new at bug
diving, this is a great trip to come on as we will have 3 days to help
show you where we find them and how we grab them. If you are
experienced, you know the routine, come along!

Weather permitting, we
will also have a couple of night dives, so if filling your 3 day limit
is a goal of yours, you will have plenty of opportunity to do so.

We will also keep an eye
on, and an ear in the water for gamefish that may still be in the area
and try to do a Seabass or Yellowtail dive.

San miguel is known for
its BIG rockfish and lingcod and hubcap scallops. It doesn't have the
numbers of bugs that Cruz and Rosa have, but when you find them, they
are BIG BIG BIG!

We will have 3 solid days
of diving so the pressure of having to go on every jump is off and you
can decide to take the kayaks and do a beach walk, or do some fishing,
take some photos or video, or just relax.

Big halibut also lay in
the sand channels between the reefs of all three islands. If there are
enough guys, we might try a scuba jump for some flatties.

The boat has a zodiac so
we can ferry you out to a spot that you might want to try a little
further from the boat.

We will also have some
good microbrew on tap for those who are of age - (ID required! ) for
some post diving relaxation while we fish at anchor. The last overnight
charter we were able to anchor on the edge of Talcott Shoals and fish
for rockfish and lingcod all night long. We joked and goofed off all
night.

We were able to ethically
harvest lobster, scallops, rockfish, lingcod, calico bass, urchin,
crabs, cabezone.... I think that about covers it.

Come on guys, this is
going to be a fun one. Earlier in the season than last year, we should
have some calm waters to explore. I know that there will probably be at
least 3 video cameras so we will try to make a fun movie of the trip.

Join us as we
charter
the world famous dive vessel "Truth" out of Santa Barbara for a 3-day
lobster diving extravaganza, going to the islands where the BIG bugs
live!

We will have a bug
grabbing seminar the night before we leave, details to follow.

We are lining up a few legendary bug gitters to come and share some of their
wisdom, techniques and tools.  There will also be a bug cleaning,
preparing and cooking seminar.

The boat will be leaving
at 2am on Thurs oct. 25 and returning Saturday the 27th around 6pm.  This will
provide all day diving on thursday, Night dives Thursday, Friday, a couple of night dives on Friday night
and most of the day diving on Saturday.  While we are encouraging
freediving, scubydoobys are welcome.  We will target freedive friendly
spots.  There will also be a chase boat so that those who wish to
wander a little further and maybe chase the elusive White Seabass in the
kelp forest can do so if conditions allow.

This trip is for both
the expert bug gitter and the novice grabber.  We will help you with
techniques on how to improve your success, and hope that those with
experience will share some of their secrets as well.

The $475 price includes
all bunk, airfills (what are those), food and drinks, hot showers,
encouragement, Keg of local Microbrew beer, free advise, healthy criticism,
and good times.  We will even throw in a few awards, some great
giveaways, jackpot (extra)

The trip will fill
quickly, so call, email, pony express, fly a messenger pigeon, send smoke
signal and let us know to hold a spot while you send the $100 deposit or
full amount to us.
