Another great dive at Vets!!!

A small group got together last night for a super calm night of diving.

The wind was calm and the ocean was a sheet of glass. Entry and exit was child’s play. The plan was to start at the middle stairs, go down to about 90 work our way back up and move south along the salad bowl looking for critters.

When we dropped down the vis was pretty good. However the one thing that made things easier to see was Russell’s MEGA can light. His LED lit up vets like a football field. Note to self…Get One Of Those Lights……lol My Light Cannon on the other hand, went out on me. I thought I had enough battery life but I found out I was wrong ¾ through the dive. DOH. Luckily, Russell is also a photographer so he knew I was looking for better light and he delivered in spades. Thanks dude!

DIVE HIGHLIGHT – I SPOTTED A 3 INCH BABY GIANT SEA BASS at 15FT!! With my light out and my back up sucking big time I did not get a chance to get a shot. I gathered the troops to look back where it was but we could not find it.

Great Dive – Great People – Now Get Out There And Get Wet!!!

Below are some highlights from the dive:
