I think (but am not absolutely sure) that your unidentified shrimp is Crangon nigricauda, the Blacktail shrimp. The color is higly variable, and can change quickly on anyu given indivedual according to Jensen in Pacific Coast Crabs and Shrips, 1995, p.40 #58.
