Saturday at Palos Verdes |

Conditions were much nicer than expected, particularly early in the day. It was very flat in the morning when Scott G and Kevin L joined me on a short run from King Harbor out to the barge for a survey of macro subjects. Fins protruding from the water as we pulled up indicated a gang of sea lions that spent an hour dive-bombing us to great comic effect while we were on the barge. Temp was 55 F. For the second dive we decided to run down to check out the underwater arch near Pt. Vicente. Here it was surgy but productive for macro. Loaded with sunflower stars both adult and juvenile, 57 F. Scott and Kevin (who are vastly better at this than I am) made some very interesting nudibranch finds.
