What is the largest concentration of pipfish you have ever come across?

Has anyone ever seen a large, dense, block-out-the-background school of these critters? If so, when and where?

I saw this situation twice last week on work dives on the backside of Santa Rosa Is. This was something I had never seen previously with a lot of hours OTB.
